The Venue

The spaces in our wedding package include the Great Hall, Long Room, Round Room and the attractive Oaken Panelled Room, one fully equipped kitchen, a preparation kitchen and a wash-up kitchen. The Long Room and the outdoor garden with open air stage make a beautiful backdrop for photographs. There is also a quiet room to get changed in, as well as a registrar’s room. A classical folly adjacent to our Walled Garden and orchards enhances the eastern view from the terrace and is also great for photographs.

The ornate Great Hall, with working Georgian fireplace, looks up into a magnificently plastered barrel dome with a musicians’ gallery. Next to the Great Hall stands the elegant Long Room, featuring French windows opening onto a terrace and an outdoor stage entwined with roses and honeysuckle during the summer months. The south-facing Round Room, with large fireplace and a bay with floor-to-ceiling windows, is adorned with a beautiful plaster ceiling of cherubs.
